Postgraduate studies

The Doctoral Programmes of University of Turku Graduate School (UTUGS) cover all the disciplines and doctoral candidates of the University of Turku. The UTU Doctoral Candidate status is applied for from the UTUGS Doctoral Programme of interest. Call for study right applications is open twice a year, in March and in September. Doctoral Candidates of the Department of Future technologies belong to the Doctoral Programme in Mathematics and Computer Sciences (MATTI).

Exchange studies
University of Turku is a highly international university offering more than 300 courses in English. Exchange students are able to combine courses from different faculties and are provided a personal tutor helping with practical matters. READ MORE

Non-degree studies
Individual courses or study modules can be completed as non-degree studies in all the scientific fields in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Non-degree studies are subject to a charge. READ MORE

Flexible study rights or JOO
All Finnish universities are part of a flexible study rights or JOO (joustava opinto-oikeus) agreement which offers students the possibility to study at other universities in Finland. READ MORE
